The module Human and Ecological Risk Assessment provides an introduction to the methods that are applied to analyse the effects of substances to public health and ecosystems. The module discusses the spread and effects of substances in the environment that are dangerous to the environment.
In addition, the module will also consider the analysis of substance flows in the environment, the starting points of composing quality standards, as well as the composition and background of human and ecological environmental quality standards for substances. The emphasis will be on the scientific risk assessment of substances, the composition of standards, and the application of these standards in policy practice.
