Be able to apply naming conventions

Understand how to introduce selective modifications and construct conjugates of biomolecules
Inhoud
This course aims to provide an organic chemistry basis for the track Chemical Biology but is open to all Chemistry and MLW students. The student is provided with a broader look on the organic chemistry of bio-molecules. In addition to the chemical synthesis of peptides/proteins, carbohydrates and DNA/RNA topics like protective group strategy, solid phase chemistry, chemoselective modifications and conjugation chemistry will be covered as well as some structural and analytical aspects.
